I met Kim at the “Should Acton have its own newspaper” workshop a couple of weeks ago hosted by the League of Women Voters where I first heard of your organization.
I have a simple idea: let’s promote ideas like “No Mow May” among Acton homeowners. I’ve mentioned similar ideas to Andrea, the sustainable liaison in the Town a few years ago. Maybe we could collaborate with many other groups like garden club, landscaping companies and nurseries
to set up maybe tax incentives and actual help for the homeowners to convert their lawn into healthy eco-systems, by planting perennials, bushes and trees, edible gardens, etc.
Hello,
I met Kim at the “Should Acton have its own newspaper” workshop a couple of weeks ago hosted by the League of Women Voters where I first heard of your organization.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
