DESCRIPTION:NOTE the unusual time:  4:00-6:00 p.m. \nThe Green Acton Water Committee welcomes anyone interested in Acton’s brooks\, ponds\, wetlands\, groundwater\, drinking water\, storm water\, wastewater\, or aquatic ecosystems.  For more information about our work to date\, visit our committee website. \nGreen Acton takes August off\, so Water Committee schedules one summer meeting\, this year on Sunday\, July 26.  The library is closed in summer\, so we will be meeting alongside Fort Pond Brook\, in the newly-named Shoddy Mill Park\, previously known as 53 River Street. Rainy day fall back is meeting by zoom.  For the agenda\, background materials\, and final confirmation of venue\, please email water-contact@greenacton.org \nWe will be joined for part of the meeting by local history expert Anne Forbes\, who will show us around and help us understand what we are seeing.
